So...I didn't realize that the website was down. Whoops. You would think that Godaddy would call and tell me that I need to update my credit card information but I guess not. So 2 weeks and 3 phone calls later we're up and running again in time for the holidays.
Christmas was very nice. Tom and I spent Christmas Eve with my family at my grandparents house in Louisville. Louisville has grown a lot through out the years but I still enjoy driving down the historic main street to look at the lights. (In case you didn't know I grew up in Louisville.) That night Tom and I came home and opened our gifts to each other. He bought me a gorg necklace from my favorite jewelry designer Zoe Chicco. It's a lightning bolt and I think it looks a little bit like the HP scar. I'm a dork. We opened Tom's family's gifts- great stuff. Christmas Day we drove to Parker to open gifts from my parents. It was a nice day spent snacking, present opening, reading (or in Tom's case video gaming) and an awesome dinner prepared by my mother. I say it was a very nice Christmas. Good times. Next holiday on the docket- New Years Eve. We decided against the loft rental because it seems that Tom is working until 9pm that evening. Bummer! But as long as he's home for the countdown I'm good. I think we'll be ordering Chinese food and watching the ball drop from the couch. I have to watch 200 Cigarettes- my all time favorite New Years movie. Is anyone else boycotting the New Years MTV special? I refuse to see Snooki get dropped in the New Years ball. I find this whole New Jersey obsession rather obnoxious. What happened to intelligent MTV programming? Real World was a forum to discuss taboo topics and to push the boundaries. Now they feature groups of adolescents get trashed, talk smack, and get in fights. Maybe I'm just getting old. Last week Tom and I had a debate about leggings. I say they're like pants. Tom says they're like tights and need to be worn under things. No we weren't discussing my outfit but rather another woman who had decided to wear leggings with a t-shirt. It's kind of scary when you have those "mom moments". When I say "mom moments" I am talking about that moment that you realize that you sound exactly like your mother (or father).
I hate to add my holiday well wishes to the end of a random rant but I'm out of interesting news about the Hackers. So from us to you Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Everyone be safe and warm.
Love
Susie and Tom
